IHG 2022 Reach Elite Status Faster Program:
Stay 5 nights to earn Platinum Elite status until December 2023.
Stay 2 nights to earn Gold Elite status until December 2023.
The new Rapid Upgrade IHG Program is back! During the campaign period, you can upgrade to Gold status with 2 nights of stay and Platinum status with 5 nights of stay after registering for the campaign, and the membership is valid until December 2023.
IHG also launched a fast upgrade campaign in May this year (5 nights Platinum, 15 nights Diamond). This event is open to members worldwide, so don't miss out if you need it.

You can upgrade to Gold by completing 2 nights before 2023-12-23 and then upgrade to Platinum by completing 3 nights before 2023-12-31, but the upgraded membership will still be valid until 2023-12-31.
In addition, as always, only paid stays booked through official channels are considered valid (over $30/night), and points rooms do not count towards challenge stays.
A quicker way to upgrade to Platinum is to spend $200 or 40,000 points on an InterContinental Ambassador and a 2-night stay for 20,000 points promotion.
